The Clusterful texture pack is a Minecraft resource pack that brings a refreshing and vibrant color palette to the game. Its goal is to make Minecraft look a little more peaceful and friendly. It does so whilst also making the game feel like an RPG.
Colorful textures
This pack attempts to do so by adding colorful textures to the game. The colorful textures aren’t limited to just greener grass, or water textures in an even brighter blue. This pack also changes some of the textures completely. Birch leaves for instance will now have an autumny brown color.
And it doesn’t end there. The entire game interface will look totally different with this pack, on top of that it also replaces the default Minecraft font with a custom, pretty heavy font. The theme returns even in the texture sprites. Open up your creative inventory and be amazed by the completely new Minecraft textures.
This resource pack makes items look more like loot from an old 8-bit RPG game. If you’re unfamiliar with those, the inventory texture are also reminiscent of Terraria’s item sprites. What it comes down to is basic, pixelated icons, with distinct and colorful designs.
Clusterful: colorful and simplistic
Apart from this vibrant texture pack adding a bunch of colors to your world, the pack will also make builds and other structures look different. Because of the simplified block textures, some blocks, such as stone, lose most of their details as a result of that.
That doesn’t mean the creator of this pack didn’t touch any of the other textures. The textures on log blocks, for instance, look nothing like their vanilla counterparts. The same goes for dirt, grass and path block textures.
Most of the textures added will, despite their fresh colors, add a sense of pattern to Minecraft. Most textures repeat perfectly. On the one hand, that is a very good thing. On the other hand, the high contrast on the textures will makes the game feel more grid-like than it does with vanilla textures.
