The Legend Texture Pack sets out to make the survival experience in Minecraft more immersive, by adding texture variation, new item sprites and more.
Survival and PvP
With most packs, the goal is to make the entire game look different, and ideally, better. This pack is no different in this regard, but it does focus on the survival experience.
By adding custom particle effects, such as more intense explosions and fighting effects, it aims to make Minecraft survival more intense and immersive. It also tries to improve the overall experience of playing Minecraft, by tweaking the GUI and font of the game.
Tweaks
Whilst up till this point this resource pack may sound like a simple add-on pack that adds only a few tweaks to the game, that is most definitely not the case. Your world will look very different with this pack, grass and bamboo will appear less saturated, and other blocks will appear more vibrant.
The pack also adds subtle 3D models to some blocks, such as barrels and crafting tables. Other than that the creator of this pack made sure not a single items sprite remained as it was in vanilla Minecraft. That is why you may find yourself looking for an item a little longer than usual, when first using this pack.

Installation
- First, you need to download Optifine.
- Once it has finished downloading, you open the file and install Optifine.
- Now select the Optifine profile in the Minecraft Launcher and click play.
- If you want to add shaders or texture packs, navigate to the game menu, go to “Video Settings” for shaderpacks and to “Resource Packs” to install texture packs.
