Pushing the limit
Removing details from texture inherently makes it harder to recognize them, especially in a survival setting, where you may not have the time to take a close look at textures. This minimalist texture pack really pushes the limit in this regard, in that it leaves behind just traces of the original textures, to be able to recognize them quickly.
This can be a range of clues, of which you usually just get one. As textures are oversimplified with this simplistic pack, you will have to recognize blocks either by their colors, their shape or their location in a world.
Bright cubes
All that is due to the fact that this texture pack changes almost all textures in to bright, vibrant cubes, with no more details than the creator thought necessary. That goes for everything in Minecraft, including animals. One aspect in which this resource pack is different from most other 8x texture packs is that is not actually an 8-pixel texture pack, according to the creator.
Instead, it is officially a 16x texture pack with mostly 8x textures. As puzzling as this may sound, it may be explained by looking at mobs or particles, for instance. Those will look just like the rest of your world, but will have just a little more detail than other textures.

Installation
- First you need to download Optifine.
- Once it has finished downloading you open the file and install Optifine.

- If you want to add shaders or texture packs, navigate to the game menu, go to “Video Settings” for shaderpacks and to “Resource Packs” to install texture packs.
