Excalibur: rustic textures
This pack is a great medieval texture pack. Because of that, you can expect your builds and your world in Minecraft to look a lot more rustic and old with this resource pack.
Apart from the addition of many medieval-themed textures, the pack also adds random, alternate textures. That way, you builds will no longer look repetitive, even if you’ve continuously used one single block type.
Custom models
With this texture pack, all texture will look rustic, but also appear darker overall. This pack lowers the brightness of the textures, which in return makes your world look less lively. This effect does go along with the style of the textures, which is why it doesn’t look off.
Another thing this pack adds, is custom, improved 3D models for mobs. Animals like cows, sheep, pigs and chicken will look very different, and more detailed with these custom 3D models.

This resource pack may require Optifine to work properly. Optifine is a mod that allows you to load and use shaders in Minecraft. If you don’t know how to install Optifine and Shaders, use the tutorial below.
Once it has finished downloading, you open the file and install Optifine.
Now select the Optifine profile in the Minecraft Launcher and click play.
If you want to add shaders or texture packs, navigate to the game menu, go to “Video Settings” for shaderpacks and to “Resource Packs” to install texture packs.
