Faithful HD 512x texture pack is an ultra realistic texture pack for Minecraft 1.19, all the way back to 1.8.9. It features textures of a much higher resolution than the original Faithful texture pack. It’s high resolution textures make it an amazing upgrade over the regular Faithful textures.

This resource pack is not totally unique. It does offer something other texture packs do not, but it is based on an existing texture pack. That is why Faithful HD 512x should be seen as an upgrade to the popular Faithful texture pack.
This pack adds much higher resolution textures, which does the same thing the Faithful texture pack does. They take the original textures from vanilla Minecraft, and upgrade them to a higher resolution, whilst adding more details to blocks and items. This resource pack is not the only high resolution texture pack out there. That being said, it is one of the only ones to incorporate the Faithful texture style, whilst offering high resolution textures.
512x vs. 32x
Going from vanilla Minecraft 16x textures to the higher 32x resolution of the original Faithful textures is already a big leap. It becomes minor, however, when you compare it to the difference between the 32x textures of the original pack and the HD 512x textures. There are also some resolutions in-between, such as 64x and 128x textures. Textures of 512 pixels by 512 pixels however, allow for the addition of an incredible amount of detail.
When it comes to the textures themselves, nothing special can be said of them, as they still look very similar to the 32x version of this pack. What you will see though, is that details added with the 32x version really come to life with the 512x version. This is because of the higher resolution, which allows for even more details to be added to blocks and items. One thing is for sure: this realistic minecraft texture pack will make your Minecraft builds look amazing!

Installation
- First you need to download Optifine.
- Once it has finished downloading you open the file and install Optifine.
- Now select the Optifine profile in the Minecraft Launcher and click play.
- If you want to add shaders or texture packs, navigate to the game menu, go to “Video Settings” for shaderpacks and to “Resource Packs” to install texture packs.
