Texture variations
The Native Texture Pack introduced some new texture variations not found in vanilla Minecraft. They added some really cool colors for things like doors, trapdoors, and fences, to name a few. Some designs were also changed to give each block a more detailed appearance.
For example, vanilla Minecraft’s glasses resemble regular glass blocks, but in this texture pack, they all have iron brackets. These glass blocks would normally have very distinct color variations, but with this texture pack, they have been dulled down slightly, giving them a more realistic color hue.
Realism and fantasy focused
The Native Texture Pack also improved the armor sets, weapons, and tools. These details gave them a more realistic appearance. However, there are some other texture packs that may have done a better job of adding realism to these game elements.
Even if this is the case, we can’t really blame a 16x texture pack for attempting. Horses, moo shrooms, cats, foxes, and other mobs have also been revamped, giving them a more lifelike appearance, contributing to the game’s overall realistic vibe. This resource pack may require Optifine to work properly. Optifine is a mod that allows you to load and use shaders in Minecraft. If you don’t know how to install Optifine and Shaders, use the tutorial below.
Once it has finished downloading, you open the file and install Optifine.
Now select the Optifine profile in the Minecraft Launcher and click play.
If you want to add shaders or texture packs, navigate to the game menu, go to “Video Settings” for shaderpacks and to “Resource Packs” to install texture packs.
