The Roundista texture pack focuses on replacing Minecraft’s square textures with smooth round ones. This ultra realistic texture pack works best with shader packs that support the latest Physically Based Rendering standards. The Roundista texture pack represents smoothness in the most literal way.
You would have a hard time figuring out if this texture pack even tries to deviate from vanilla Minecraft because all it changes is the squareness of the textures. This is similar to how the Simplista texture pack merely adds enhanced details to existing vanilla textures. It feels like playing vanilla Minecraft and not playing vanilla Minecraft, at the same time, if that makes any sense.
Round textures
Everything except the blocks themselves is round. The grasses with their usual pixelated texture become rounded, looking almost like green candle droplets. Brick texture becomes smooth, as if melting milk chocolate over dark chocolate popsicle sticks. Birch tree trunks that are normally a combination of black, peach, and white pixels, now look like textured white barks eaten away by caterpillars.
You would even have a brand-new appreciation of dirt. You heard it right, dirt! The block that seemed so insignificant now looks like a precious commodity with this texture pack. Who wouldn’t want a house that looks like it’s constructed out of milk chocolate bar blocks?
Best paired with shaders
Roundista 1.20 works like magic when paired with shaders like Kappa Shaders, SEUS PTGI and BSL Shaders. They give Roundista’s textures more depth by adding accurate shadows. This texture pack also provides realistic textures to precious materials like gold, iron, copper, diamond, and Redstone. The Redstone ore glows in the dark and has a white, luminous outline. A Redstone block is also luminous, and not just that, metallic textures like gold, iron, and copper blocks reflect the glow of any light-emitting blocks.

Installation
- First you need to download Optifine.
