Building stuff is one of the main reasons we play Minecraft. The Better Vanilla Building texture pack makes building even better! The ability to build walls, houses, and infrastructures using different blocks is an enticing way to practice creativity.

The BetterVanillaBuilding texture pack takes creativity to a whole new level via connected textures with the use of vanilla textures. This means you have more freedom on how you want to make your builds more unique than others.

Better building

So how exactly does BetterVanillaBuilding improve your constructions? When using this vanilla texture pack, you’ll notice that whenever you put two different blocks next to each other, this texture pack integrates these blocks, so they would seem like the same material.

When you place a mossy cobblestone next to dirt, they turn into a block of soil with gravel inside it. Placing a Redstone lamp on top of a green stone would turn the Redstone lamp green. You can also dye your wood planks by building them next to colored concrete. Isn’t that neat?

A connected world

This connected textures feature isn’t limited to just building and construction. Animals, biomes, and almost all inventory items are affected by it. For example, grass in snow biomes shows frost on the tip of its leaves. Flowers get the same effect when planted on snowy dirt.

In vanilla Minecraft, each block has clear, hard edges. In this texture pack, it’s different. Grasses creep through sand blocks extending from the dirt blocks beside them just like how it would look in real life.

Wait, there’s more?

The BetterVanillaBuilding texture pack alters several textures. One of my favorites is the birch tree leaves. Instead of the regular olive green color, they are actually pink. Everybody loves Sakura trees. This texture pack also brings in variety, which you will notice when you come across mobs. Zombies and skeletons will have varieties of how deformed bodies are. This texture pack definitely has a lot more to offer than what is listed here. If you are up for surprises, make sure to check out the BetterVanillaBuilding texture pack.
