The Faithful 32x resource pack (previously Compliance 32x) is a texture pack that adds 32x textures to Minecraft. Whilst doing so, it stays true to the look and feel of vanilla Minecraft. Recently, Compliance 32x was rebranded to Faithful 32x.
32x textures
This pack features detailed 32x textures. The style of the textures are faithful. This means both the color and the look of the textures stay true to vanilla textures.
Faithful 32x is not alone in its kind. The Compliance Team also made a more detailed 64x version of the pack, which has similar textures. Its textures contain much more details though, because the with 64x textures, you get four times the amount of pixels per texture.
Faithful vs. Compliance 32x
Another texture pack featuring 32x textures, whilst staying true to the look and feel of vanilla Minecraft, is Faithful. That’s why this pack may remind you of the Faithful resource pack, but that doesn’t mean the packs are identical.
The packs are similar in that they try to mimic vanilla textures using 32x textures, but the way they do so is vastly different. As you can see in the comparison above, the leaves and other textures look very different with both packs.
