rotrBLOCKS resource pack is a high-end texture pack which adds amazing graphics to Minecraft. Not only does this pack affect almost any aspect of the game, it is also highly customizable. The 256x version of this pack is available for free. The ‘rotr’ in the name stands for replace of the reality.
Resource pack features
This resource pack includes a variety of features. Firstly, it features hand-crafted high-resolution textures, but those textures will also connect with other textures. Optifine is required for most of the features in this resource pack to work. Once combined with shaders such as Complementary Shaders, the resource pack will really come to life.
The pack comes with high-resolution POM and PBR textures. Even though these high-end textures will undoubtedly change the look of Minecraft, the goal of this pack is stay true to vanilla Minecraft as much as possible.
Pack layout
You can download the resource pack as a single .zip file, but to use it in Minecraft, you will need to unpack it. The original file will contain four new .zip files called Base, CTM, HQ and FONT. You need to select BASE first, the order of the other packs shouldn’t matter that much.
After applying all four packs to Minecraft, you will notice many aspects of Minecraft are now different. That’s because this pack affects almost anything in Minecraft. It will change things ranging from the GUI and game font to the actual textures.
